Photo above shows the full brothers Menai Martino (2004) and Menai Cardi Llwyd (2005) both being Menai Cosmos x Elonwy Shooting Star.
...and so to the Menai & Friarly Studs, to a different type of presentation to finish the day. First a ridden display of the two stallions pictured above, as well as Menai Mary Jane ridden by Thomas Jones. This was followed by a group presentation of the As, Cs and Ds, with Peter pointing out particular animals as he and Ann moved amongst them. This was followed by an inhand presentation of some of this years star performers, finishing with the stud's current top performer Menai Sparkling Imperial and an unshown stallion Menai Super Star.
Unusual for me to be swayed by a "dun" I found Miss Ellie (?) as mesmorising as the first time I saw her a few years back, along with pne of the Section A grey mares, I think they were my favourites.
